Description of Mimosa Absolute aka Cassie Sweet Absolute
The mimosa tree originated from Brazil but is now found naturally in many parts Mexico. The tree grows to a height of about 39 feet or less and has a dark grayish brown bark. The leaves are fern like and the flowers look like sweet smelling white cylindrical spikes. The ancient people living in Mexico have used the barks of the mimosa tree for treating skin lesions. This tree provides forage to the bees and food for the cattle, it is quiet resilient and thrives in dry season as well as the drought.

Mimosa absolute oil is extracted from the twigs and leaves of the mimosa tree and has a sweet woody scent. The absolute is amber in color with a thick viscosity. It blends well with lavender, lavendin, English violet and cassie essential oil.
