Petitgrain oil is extracted through steam distillation process of the green twigs and leaves of the citrus tree. This oil is known for its antibacterial, antiseptic, anti-infectious, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, deodorant, relaxant and digestive properties. This oil is one of the three oils extracted from the orange tree. However, it is not the same with the orange oil because they differ from the process of extraction and where the oil was obtained.
