Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil

Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil is an antiseptic, ant putrescent, antiseborrheic, aphrodesiac, astringent, diuretic, expectorant, fungicidal, mucilytic, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), and on top of all this, a tonic. Experiments in India have shown that Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil can be highly effective as a natural and environmental friendly insecticide and fungicide and can be easily used to preserve various spices during storage. Due to its nontoxic nature it can also be used to keep various household insects and pests at bay while being totally safe for mammals. In many cases Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil has proved to contain many anti-cancer properties especially against human epidermal carcinoma of the nasopharynx in tissue culture.

Cedarwood Himalayan is a tall, evergreen tree that grows up to 50 m, and even higher. It primarily grows on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil is distilled from roots and stumps of Cedrus Deodara which has been left after cutting of Deodar trees for timber extraction.

Rectified cedarwood oil is obtained by giving an alkali wash to crude oil. The oil that is rich in Himanchalene is called super rectified oil and the oil rich in Atlantone and higher fraction-removing resin is called perfumery grade cedarwood oil.
